Happy Birthday Brinton!

Today Brinton turned one year old. This year has been full of marvelous adventures and overwhelming joy.

We love Brinton because:
-he has a ready smile and a contagious laugh.
-he loves to clap his hands together and whisper "Putuh-cuh" (patty-cake).
-he whisper-jabbers while he plays, and it sounds like Parseltongue.
-when he finds an object of particular interest, he grabs it, then rolls to his back to take a closer look.
-if someone he's watching walks out of view, he cranes his neck to see where they have gone.
-when he is in a new place, he tests out the acoustic by repeatedly singing a resonant "Ah."
-he gets excited when his daddy comes home, flailing his arms and kicking his legs.
-he tackles his huge stuffed lion every night before he goes to bed.
-he loves to observe people.
-he has a very sweet disposition.

We are entirely wrapped around his chubby little finger!

Parenthood has been a blessing. Brinton is an incredible first child and he's training us well. We've all learned so much this year, and we have so much to look forward to in the year to come.
